I was accused of stealing and my job was terminated. I understand that I can be fired for any reason, valid or not.. however I am being accused of something I did not do, my boss as well as the other employees have very loose lips and the community I work in is very small. They are talking with customers about the situation which there is ZERO proof to be true.. I spoke to an attorney and while It wont get my job back and I may still be denied unemployment , he said a c&d letter may prevent them from continuing to slander me. Is it worth the $100?
