Why aren't insurance companies held accountable for their actions ? It has been my experience that they do anything they want without being held accountable .Even when there is indisputable proof against them ,nothing is done . Why is this ?

If you have a complaint against a specific insurance company, report your concern to the insurance commissioner in the state where the incident occurred.

But, before you do that, read your policy.

Most insurance companies follow the policy (which is your contract) to the letter.

Most policyholders don't read their policy.

Then they think the insurance company did them wrong.
