Injury by Landlord's Employee

Before signing my lease I didn't realize that is said, "The Tenant also agrees to release the Landlord from any legal responsibility for any damage, loss or injury caused by the careless act of other tenants in the community for the Landlord or Landlord's agents or employees." Does this mean there is no hope for redress for an injury caused by their employee?

It means what it says. If, you have such an issue transpire, you take it court. It likely won't hold up. You can't bargain away or sign away your rights, contrary to the belief of the uninformed.
