Hello,
I appreciate the insight this forum may provide.
On my traffic ticket, the numerical reference to the violation is listed here:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=46.61.020
However, this is completely irrelevant to what I was pulled over for: not exiting in an exit only lane (I kept going). He wrote all my info down using my license, so not sure why the officer would write this RCW. Notes on the ticket say: "Restrictive Sign Violation", nothing else.
If you look at the link, it says "misdemeanor", and I'm worried that DMV, insurance co., etc. will misinterpret this mistake made by the officer.
Any insight appreciated.
