Please, if anyone could help... my daughter and I need you...
My ex and I had a daughter october 1, 2008 after bein together only 10 months. We got pregnant in our first month and shortly after my daughter was born we broke up due to her cheating on me with three different men...
Since i broke it off, she has been so mad at me, threatening to kill herself for the past nine months since we broke up and has attempted suicide two times and was hospitalized. For the past 6 months, ive had my daughter 5 to 6 days a week because my ex works and goes to school full time and is busy literally every day but 1 to 2 each week; not to mention, she is very emotionally unstable...
I filed with the courts for ex-parte and after we went to court, he assiigned a guardian ad litem and put the original parenting plan back in effect which gives me only the weekend with my daughter and at my ex's house during the week primarily being raised by my ex's motheer, as she is away at school or work from 7 am to 9 pm after my daughter is in bed. The parenting plan is put into effect until April 1 when it goes back to court for review.
My daughter is used to the stability ive created for her and as her father, i feel i should be raising her if my ex can not; not my ex's mother! However, the judges order states the parenting plan stays in effect until april 1 when it goes back to court. What can i do? I'm a stable father who has a stable job, good citizen no criminal background or anything like that and obviously fit to raise my daughter! Can I petition to have the court order changed? Who is the best attorney with the most amount of experience?
Please, please help... any advice would help! I love my daughter very much and neither she or I deserve to lose eachother!
