Criminal Law Immigration appointment

I have a question about a petit theft charge on arraingment status on me since Oct 4/04. I pleaded not guilty, and case was forgotten in the docket, however I have an appointment with immigration in two weeks because of an adjustment of status to resident by the reason of marriage to an American citizen. I submited a motion to dismiss since the case since its been a while, but haven't heard anything from the judge/ court yet. I'm afraid I will have problems with immigration since the case has not been solved yet. Will this charge bring an unfavorable response from immigration on my adjustment of status. Also back in 1992 I was charged with Trespassing, pleaded not guilty and charge was later dismissed. Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
