If I am in the will, am I entitled to read it, have copy of it?

If I am the beneficiary of a valid will, and I am the primary beneficiary, with my sons being minors and the secondary beneficiaries (I am named their guardian in the will), am I entitled to a paper photocopy of the entire will, or part of the will? If not, am I entitled to read the document for myself, as opposed to having segments read aloud to me? Is it possible that the deceased could have worded the document in such a way that there is part of it I am not allowed to read? I am an alien beneficiary (abroad) in the will of a deceased U.S. citizen who died abroad (we share no blood relation, and were never married, and were never lovers); does this alien status alter anything? If the U.S. I.R.S. makes a claim on most or even all of the estate, am I entitled to written proof of this, as the beneficiary? Since I have not a copy of the will, the I.R.S. will not reveal a death tax return or estate status, so what can I do?
