Wow. That's very, very different. Apparently the court is already spanking you with punitive damages? If you want assistance, you're going to need to provide all the relevant facts as to where you're at. At this point the court has found that you've done something in contempt of court and ordered to pay. Perhaps it could be you refused to provide something ordered for discovery. Now the plaintiff is amending its claim to sock the rest to you - the underlying claim they are suing you for, e.g. the actual amount of the unpaid bill or damages, interest, and/or the addition of other consequential damages. That will be ordered to pay in the court's verdict/opinion as well. This does not look so good and there is a LOT more, as I suspected. Good luck with this.I think I misread the order.
The order goes something like this
Pay the plaintiff $$ "punitive damage" to conference
I thought when I get the order, it's done. I guess not
Ok, that makes more sense. Only on rare occasions is a party required to pay an amount during trial. The punitive damages action seems absurd. If you agreed to pay the principal in court - did you do so before trial? Why is the plaintiff suing you? Did you not agree to pay before trial but did so only after he sued?
I missed his payment. I thought I paid him already he is one of my online contractors. Honest mistake on my part
