I had a son with this girl i met one night and she turned out to be a minor. Her parents got a lawyer and the lawyer told me to sign the adopption papers or they will press charges on me. The girl is now 18 and i havent signed the papers to giv up my rights. What should i do. Pease Help Me.

You have a right to the child as a father. You better check your states laws to see if you even violated any laws. If you did, you may want to talk to a lawyer about the criminal part.

Depending on how old you are, it may or may not have been a crime. The parents can try to press charges but it is the DA that files them.
You need to see an attorney. Has paternity been established that this child is yours? You do have rights and ou do not have to consent to the adoption if you do not want too, but you need to see a family law attorney.
