Hello-I have joint custody of my son, who is physically placed with my ex-husband in another state. I have had no contact with my child who is going to be 4 years old in almost 1 year. I have called, e-mailed, wrote letters. I get hung up on, and no return mail, etc. For christmas last year, I had a friend bring the christmas gifts to my ex-husband for my child. Never recived acknowledgement. I am not here to bash my exhusband, he just does not know any better. He grew up in a horrible home, with alcoholics as parents, as well as a child abuser, and molester for a father. I quess he feels in his mind he wants to be the hero and block his past by looking like a superstar father, when in fact he works 80+ hours a week, and oh by the way has his wonderful mother raising my son. She to is trying to make up for the crap life she gave her kids.
Any way, I had a cocaine problem. I started to use when the military tried to call me back to active duty and send me to IRAQ. It was no excuse, but it was very streesful. I did not have a supportive husband. Instead he set me up, and had me arrested. Right there you can see how supportive he was!!!!!!!!!! Any way he planned this so he could file for divorce and make me look like the worst parent. Yes what I did was wrong, however, he lied in court, and the judge was probobly paid off.
Bottom line is this, he has shut me, and my other son, my family totally out of my childs life, as if we were dead. I have spent every dime I had on attorneys, close to $40,000. and this is where it got me. I need help. I need communication and to be able to see my child. I have aklso found out I have Rhumatoid Arthritiis, AND NOW MY EX HUSBAND HAS CANCELLED MY HEALTH INSURANCE. If anyone knows anyone who can help me fight for my child, I need a strong person to help me fight. Please direct me.
