I have two names..?

Recently had a divorce. Even though my ex asked me whether or not I wanted to go back to my maiden name, they failed to specifically put in the divorce decree that I may do so. Without knowing, I went down to the social security office. They looked over my decree, and changed my card back to my maiden name with no problem. So then I go to the revenue office for my drivers' license. And whaddaya know, they said I can't do it unless the decree specifically says so. So now my social is in my maiden name, and my drivers' in my married. I can't find any forms on the internet that could help me, and the people at the circuit court aren't helping either. What should I do?

Check with your lawyer. Unless the final decree can be modified, you may have to go through the process of changing your name independent of the divorce.
