i am married but i want to leave my husband but the car is in his name

I am married i want to leave him he treats me bad but car is in his name but i have my own key to it access to drive anytime i want am i legally able to leave in the car or can he have me arrested?

You won't be arrested if you take the car. Police would not even take a report of a stolen vehicle if he tried to make one.
Ownership of the car would be sorted out later in court.

Agree; since you are married, you wouldn't be arrested for taking off in the car. It's not like a stranger for example came & took the car.
