I am in Texas. To make a long story short, I have never been convicted of any type of crime. This is my first offense. I forged a company check for just over $11,000. So, I stole this money from my former employer. The employer does not have any idea of what I have done. I did this in January of 2004. I want to make this right, but I do not want to go to jail and I do not have the money to repay it. What are my options? What could happen to me?
