I have been a member of a major class suit since 1989. I have received one low payout and probably may receive the second BUT it is obvious to me that the law firm-because of the low legal restrictions on the firm's fee - is not working on the case any more. There has been no activity for 1 year and my calls receive nothing but cordial stalling responses. I need closure. How can I end the relationship in a diplomatic way? I think I could move faster toward closure alone. What must I do to end the relationship, get back my power of attorney and copies of what is in my folder? Thank you. NYC
