The father of my kids and I both went to court to set custody and visitation rights. We had mediation and came to a legal agreement, but recently he decided fatherhood was too much for him to handle and he said he wasnt going to see the kids anymore because it was too much for him. He also stated that he was "going to take his own life" recently. I dont not think the kids are safe or taken well care of when with him. And now since he said he was not going to be around anymore, I am wondering what steps I have to take to take full custody of my children and maybe who I can speak to about the situation. We are located in Riverside County, California. Thank you.

Getting full custody really would not do much he can still see the kids. If he does not want to bother and not see the kids then let him.
