    Hello,
I apologize if this isn't the proper forum but I had trouble categorizing this question. basically, I had legal changed my name and address. However; recently I've been recieving mail with my old name at my new address (mainly credit card offers and student loan programs). Is there any way I can eliminate this? I don't want any trace of my old name to appear in mail. I know it would be impossible to contact all these credit card companies personally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This Is Not Legal advice

Why not try sending the letters back Name not known at this address.(you are not lying) Return to sender! company's do not like return to sender mail and you should be soon off of there list.
It is worth a shot, I always send mail back return to sender if it is junk.

    good luck
