I have lived with boyfriend for 14 years in a home he owns (we are not married). We have Wills, Powers of Attorney designating each other. My concern is with the alternate family member he has on his will if something were to happen to both of us. She is a very greedy person and I do not think this person would allow my Mom in the home to get some of my family heirlooms, art I painted, etc. She would not want much just a few things of mine. Is there anything I can do to insure this does not happen. His paperwork is filed with an attorney.

Absolutely!

OP can also use a safety deposit box, or honestly there are many remedies available. Many of which would not be available to a married couple.

You can easily get your wills, living will or power of attorneys done by professional attorney for a fraction of a cost. PM me and I will let you know how.
