A 29-year-old pedophile was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child by the El Paso Police Department.

Fernando Chavira Soto was arrested for allegedly victimizing a 7-year-old child, according to his arrest affidavit.

The alleged victim made an outcry about Soto abusing them.



According to the document, Soto was accused of raping the child 10 to 20 times.

The alleged sexual assaults started in the Spring, the affidavit stated.

Soto was arrested on June 16.

He remains in custody at the El Paso County Detention Center.

CHILTON, Texas (KWTX) - A Chilton man has been arrested in connection to an alleged sexual assault of a minor.

Falls County Sheriff deputies responded to a call July 24 of an alleged sexual assault of a child.

Jose Barron was arrested at his home after investigators determined the victim was under the age of 14 years old.

Barron is currently being held at the Falls County Jail where he is charged with aggravated assault of a child with a bond set at $500,000.
