How can I get my personal belongings back?

In summary, I recently moved out of my boyfriend of almost 7 years' house. I left quickly because I don't really know what he is capable of. We have a son together. He is refusing to allow me access to the house to gather my personal, financial, and sentimental belongings until he gets a notorized statement that I will not file for child support. He says the law is on his side. What do I do?

Stop listening to him and call the police if he has not allowed access. Even if you gave him this notarized statement it will not hold up in court most likely. Has he changed the locks? Since you live there you could probably due a forced entry to gather your stuff. He cannot just boot you out.

Yup...dude changed the locks 2 days after I left. Found out via text message.
