The attorney we hired pro bono is believed to be involved in legal malpractice. He was representing me and my family against walmart, and was very negligent up to nov. 9 when he left us stranded states away at what felt like a phony mediation. I have alot of evidence of him lying as to him filing a lawsuit and talking with an attorney from walmart on our behalf.(and Alot more) This was my first time ever being in a situation like this. They didn't care that my life was ruined along with my family that day a few of their employees broke every policy they had to falsely accuse me of theft and call police

People often don't understand how the legal system works, which leads them to conclude that the attorney is doing something wrong.

The legal profession is driven mainly by revenue like most business. The cases that bubble up to the top (the most to gain) that get the attention by the lawyer. The rest just keep getting pushed back. It's really not about justice for the plaintiff as it is revenue for the law firm.

When someone hires an attorney they expect the best that can be done for them. It's not that they don't understand how the legal system works.

I will again state that, oftentimes, people don't understand how the legal system works and thus come to the conclusion that the attorney is acting improperly. I am not saying that there aren't sometimes attorneys who act improperly, rather, I am merely pointing out that a lack of understanding of the complexities and nuances of legal procedures oftentimes leads people to an incorrect conclusion about the attorney.

With respect to advice, please read the disclaimer at the bottom of every page. Folks here can certainly try to answer questions, but you will need to actually ask questions and provide us with relevant facts.

Your post makes sense, but it's nothing but conclusory allegations.

What is the nature of the malpractice?

What facts support the alleged malpractice?

What did you mean when you wrote that you hired the lawyer pro bono?

Who are "we"?

Why is it that you needed representation against the retailer you mentioned?

Has a lawsuit been filed? If so, in what state was it filed, and what causes of action are alleged?

What does "felt like a phony mediation" mean, and what does your allegation that he left you "stranded" mean?

You wrote that you "have alot [sic] of evidence of him lying as to him." What does that mean?

Why do you seemingly believe it is problematic that your lawyer "talk[ed] with an attorney from [the retailer] on [y]our behalf"?

Improper in what way? Poorly written how? What qualifies you to judge the quality of a lawyer's writing? The last two bullet points make no sense, but they, like virtually everything else you wrote, are conclusory allegations that are meaningless without facts.

Unless you provide relevant facts, no one here can be of any help to you.

no a lawsuit was never filed although i was repeatedly told it was being filed... i even have a copy of the 26 page complaint

my former attorney had knowledge of my job relocating and eventually firing me because of the incident and my mental health. he also knew that we(me my month old son and my fiance) had been staying in hotels and on the verge of homelessness. we drove from Louisiana to Kansas city, ks for mediation. to be told we should take whatever the settlement offer was because if went to court the state of kansas is to racist to feel my family was deserving of any justice. yes i have proof via text emails.

None of this speaks to legal malpractice. Even if it did, since no lawsuit has been filed, you can still file one (unless the statute of limitations has expired) and allow your case to be heard.
