Hit by Car,Neck-Back Problems

In June 2004 I was hit by a car while walking in the pedestrian lane into Target. I have been getting nedical treatment,but it has gotten worse. I have a bulging disk in my neck-constant back/neck pain.I will be seeing a neurologist next week. I have an attorney. I am wondering if anyone has known of a similar case, any advice-and any indication as to what damages I should seek. I am 29 and I was in very good health. Now I feel like an 80 yr old!
