Hired for a job even though they knew the position was being eliminate

Hi. I was hired to fill a position February 18, 2013 and left my job of eight years to go to this new company. I was tolf five months later that the position was being offshored to Manila and my last day would be November 22nd. Can I do anything if I can prove they knew my job was being eliminated before they hired me?

I'm asking for a reason.
