In need of advice or direction I guess. I have an active child support case in arrears. I do currently and regularly pay my child support to the effect of 50% of my income. My license was suspended years ago by FOC but I need to get it back. What do I need to do? My case is in Wayne County MI. I am 33 years old and need to get a better job but am obviously limited with no license. Due to the high amount I pay I struggle badly with money and if not for my fiance I would not be able to afford a place of my own because I cannot get a good enough job to pay support and have enough to pay the rent or anything else for that matter. I don't know if ANY of that applies to a child support suspension so you might be wise to consult with an attorney who knows about this sort of thing and see if there's a way to streamline the process.
