Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Help with sticky situation, please

I posted least week but received no replies, so I'm hoping someone will help me.

If I opened a credit card in my daughter's name with myself as the authorized user and never made any late payments, have since paid it off and the card is now closed -- can I still be charged with id theft or fraud? What are the chances I'd have to go to jail?

Just because the card was paid off does not remove the crime. If Law Enforcement decides to investigate they can and you could be charged.
