help with child custody

my ex and i have recently went through a child custody/support battle. It's been close to a year. We agreed on joint custody and a custody plan where he gets the children 3 weekends out of the month and every other week during the summer. Thus, it would lower his child support payments if he had them for that period of time. Well, come summer time, he said that he couldnt get the children every other week because he didnt have anyone to watch them while he was working. Also, he only gets them every other weekend now. Can i take him back to court for a different custody plan and more child support?
