The state or country I am talking about is: Mississippi
We are buying a house w/land and the person we are buying it from has paid the taxes and has the deed.....The problem is that there is someone living in the house that states she owns the land and the house. She states that since she has lived there over 7 years that she has possession that it is hers. The people that has the deed states that when they asked her to move she stated she had squatters rights and that she didn't have to. They didn't need the house they just bought it because it connects to their land so they never made her move. They are selling us the land and house as a favor, so we need to get her out. Who owns it and what do we do to get her out?
