i have a friend that had been arrested at his gas staion ( family owned business ) when he was working for getting into a fight with a drunk man that attacked him he has won the case against the city on all charges and wants to sue the city for emotional stress ,financial loss and slander . We want to know what we should do <>?

Speak to an attorney? When you say "won his case" do you mean acquitted of criminal charges? That doesn't mean "winning" or that you can easily sue for slander or libel.
