i worked for an indian employer in USA in 1996-1997. i was on H1 B visa. i was told to go to another branch of the company with a promise from the boss that i would be paid more. but the next two months when i was at the branch office i was not paid my salary. since i had no other financial backing had to return to my homeland. i wrote a letter to the main office and quit the job. even after repeated requests the boss never bothered to talk to me or answer my calls. i had to pay my airfare back to my country with the meager amount at hand. is there any way i could collect this amount? please help.
