My son was born and the day he was born CPS was involved. I am mentally ill but the hospitiol said it was safe for me to take my son home. He was born Feb 26,2008 and on March 3,2008 he was removed from my care and placed with his father. He was then removed after only 2 months, from my husbands mothers home. He was then placed with my maternal aunt. And now my Aunt won't let me visit my son.
Cps stopped visitations because of budget cuts in Jan 2009. I had my mental health care providers provide transportation for me in order to visit him there after. Magellan my health care providers helped me do drug testing and classes. Yet no matter what I did CPS was against me and my husband. They never tried family reunification, and never offered services to help us runite as a family.
My son was born healthy and had medication in his system but no illigeal drugs or alchool.
I have gaurdians who reported me to CPS. I have gaurdians because I have a trust fund. I have had 4 gaurdians so far. The reason my aunt wont let me see my son is because I had her removed as a Gaurdian due to her not doing her duties. She negelected and was always behind on paperwork.
Her parenting to my son is appalling. She relies on others to provide for him. She has my son call her mom. And has him call me by my first name. He is not even two and she is brain washing him.
For Instance:
He had a burn on his hand because she decided to cook with him in her arms while she prepared dinner.
Her house is never clean. She has 5 children whom she relies to take care of my son.
She doesn't have an income. She is on welfare and her church helps her out.
How could she possibly support my child?
She asks my other family members including my husband's mother to provide diapers,wipes,clothes,toys.
Visits to the doctor. are done by others.
My son had a rash and respirtory infection and she had my mother in-las take him to the Doctor's.
I am livid to the point that CPS favors my aunt and her placement.
So much that they want her to adopt him permanetly.
I am upset, she is even using Women Infants & Children (WIC) In which my husband setup for our son. She took him and I off to sign for him.
She is abusing the system.
Can anyone help us?
