health insurince

Im 17 and a military dependent, i am covered by tricare untill i reach the age of 21 or somthing like that. But Im also pregnant and due anyday now but the millitary wont cover for his health insurince, unless my parents adopt the baby fully.. but i dont want that. that means that i wont have any form of custody of the child and/or rights to the baby... right ? my parents are perfectly fine with it. but they want me to decide what i want to do..if i choose to get a civilian health insurince.. what are really good health insurince companies that wont screw me over in anyway.

i would not allow your parents to adopt. You should go online and get some quotes for insurance. Who is the father of the baby? you could probably apply for medicaid but you are going to have to establish paternity to get on that. The state will seek reimbursement from the father.
