Harassment by a neighbor

I have had a disagreement with my neighbor over the location in which he parks his car. I have asked him three times to stop parking it in front of my home. An argument broke out on the third time. Since then my neighbor has become very aggitated to the point where he has made violent gestures and threatened mine and my girlfriends lives. He even comes onto my property looking for a fight. I have filed a harassment charge and have a court appearance tonight. What can I expect? Can I ask for a restraining order?

Is your neighbor parking his car on a public street? If so, then he has every legal right to park there.

If he comes onto your property and menaces you, then call the police.
