Harassment before Custody in North Carolin

I have had my son since the day he was discharged from the hospital. I lived in NY, I moved to North Carolina 3 years ago. Now that my son just started Kindgergarten, and I have gotten engaged, my sons mother wanted to come and take him back to New York.
He does not want to talk to her and he has tantrums when we ask him does he want to speak to her... He has hung up the phone on her and told her that he does not want to talk to her.
I had given her the number to my residence and she has been calling at all hours of the morning. I called the local police department and filed a complaint so that I could have it at the custody hearing that I filed also.

Now that she is not getting through via phone contact she is calling the local police department requesting that they come and see about the welfare of her child. The officer's come and find nothing but a well kept home in which I work from as well.
I live in a quaint little community in Wake Forest. It is annoying and embarassing.

Is there any resolution to her not having the police come out to the house for no
apparent reason at all?

It is unfair to the police as well as to my family.

Who has offical custody here? Mom is mom and she does have some rights to the child. If there is no official visitation order you do not have to allow visits but she is the mother and you cannot eliminate her out of the childs life.

Did you seek permission from the courts before you moved to NC?

Sounds like its time to file for official full custody if you currently do not have it, but mom is probably going to seek visitation.
