Harassing emails.

I currently own a business that sells travel. One of the packages we sell is a vacation to watch part of the Iditarod. We are continuously being harassed by emails from different people asking us to end our support, and to date just delete the emails. The problem is that they are continuing and increasing in frequency (most of the emails are from different people). My questions are:

Should we just ignore them and delete them when they come in?
Should we have a letter drafted by an attorney that we consider the emails harassment and respond to them with a legal letter?
Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Who's sending the emails?

You're getting PETA emails or something similar? Do the emails use the same ISP? You can always configure your email not to accept emails from that ISP unless you also get other emails from the ISP.

You could also consider putting a disclaimer at the bottom of your brochures or online brochures. You're not running any dogs, you're just offering travel to people who are going to Alaska during the time of the Iditarod. Could you change the wording of your advertisement, maybe?

I googled and got thes urls:
http://www.hillsidespca.com/iditarod.htm
http://www.animalvoices.ca/node/198
http://www.all-creatures.org/aip/nl-26mar2002-sled.html

It appears that the SPCA is not pro-Iditarod. But that's no reason for anyone to harass you for trying to earn a living in the Travel business.

You might work up a nice response for your harassers and refer them to your attorney. Talk to your attorney first. :angel
