My grandchildren's father has been give supervised vistation and I'm the lucky one choosen to supervise. In the state of Pennsylvania what is the time limit I'am required to wait for the father to arrive for the schedule visitation, in the past he has been no show or up to two hour late. If my grandchildren do not want to come down to see their father, how should that be handled. Is there a form I should use to document the vistation and the start and stop. Father is very brittle mentally, has acknowledge he has suicidal thoughts, can I ask him to turn out his pockets lift his shirt and pant legs. Don't feel that I need to do a body cavity search, but I'd rather be cautious then dead. Also can I video tape the visits? If the kids to agree to come down stairs to see him, can I remain in the room? Not only do I want to observe his interaction with his children, I want to make sure my belonging do not disappear.
