Okay. I really need help !!!!I can not afford a lawyer. My ex and i had a baby 32 month old toddler, he has been out of the picture since i was 2 months pregnant.He did visted my baby a couple of time but never develope a realtionship with her. He did pay some child support but has not made a payment in 2yrs and now oews $6000.00. He is willing to give up paternity wich is great for me reason is that i remarried and my baby knows DAD as DADis dad (my husband) we are one HAPPY FAMILY!! We have been saving up to pay for him to legally adopt my baby and to tell you the truth is a lot of money.. I know i could ask the judge to legally change her last name and SEAL the doucument. but what are my chances that can happen. My ex is paying his lawyer to fille all the paper work of giving up paternity and sealing the doc. can i just ask his lawyer in exhange for the childsupport owe. to seal,name change and giv up rights. What or how to i say it to his lawyer/judge. please advice!!!!!
