My friend hasn't worked in over 10 years. He signed up for pua in Arizona back in October of 2020. He got $117 in October and November and part of December. Then end of December he received $420 cause of the extra $300 government handed out basically.

He received $420 all of January February March April & the first week of may. Then they requested 1099 forums or w2 or something like that. He needed to provide those by may 27th. Obviously he can't provide this. Basically his full claim was false he never worked or didn't even have a self contracting job or what ever u want to call them.

Also des contacted him reguarding his unemployment & needing to report his income for his food stamps he never reported his unemployment earnings to des for his food stamps so he committed more fraud.

What kinda charges is he facing? What are they going to do arrest him at the apartment?

Keep in mind during the last 4 months I've been telling him basically what he was doing what he was doing was illegal & to sober up but he wouldn't do it. He doesn't even know the kinda trouble he's in.

I do know in Arizona every week u file it's 2 years prison time if he lies or files fraudulently which I believe he did

He should discuss this with his attorney. Is he aware you are posting about his alleged criminal activity on the internet?

Nope he's not in jail & don't have a attorney he doesn't think he did anything wrong. I'm not naming names so it shouldn't matter if I post or not.

You have a history here, and on other sites, of posting about your friends problems/criminal behavior. That is not what a good friend does.

In reviewing your posting history on another site, one of the members (Quincy) suggested you get better friends. That was great advice that you should seriously take to heart.

If you friend hasn't been charged with a crime, then there is nothing to say here. If he does get charged he should only talk to his attorney and refrain from posting on the net or discussing with friends/family/roommates/random strangers...especially those friends/family/roommates that feel the need to blap on the internet about issues that don't personally concern them.

Seems like you answered your own question:

    It's certainly possible.

Unless a decade long UNEMPLOYED person is retired, disabled, or independently wealthy; that ALONE is the best reason not to befriend him/her/it.

It is wise to stay as far away from harmful entities, lest you seek to bring turmoil and trouble into your life.

    Trouble finds us all.

Assisting trouble in resettling it's charges is foolish and will only bring hurt, harm, and danger to YOU.
