My girlfriend went into Ch 13 bankruptcy four years ago and she is finished paying it off but it has not yet been discharged. She has had some financial problems that have caused some of her credit card payments and her mortgage payments to become delinquent. She has been attempting to refinance the house and have found a mortgage company that has approved the new mortgage but they cannot give her the new mortgage until the bankruptcy discharge paperwork is completed which may take up to 90 days. She does not have that much time to wait since the house will be going into foreclosure in a short time.Is there any way to force the bankrupsy people to speed up the discharge?What can she do?I cant help her im sad to say, and she cant find anyone else to catch the house payments up.
