   I currently have a home equity loan with property as collateral for the loan. I also own, free and clear, a second house that I live in. Can the bank I have the loan with put a lien on the home I live in or just forclose on the property listed as collateral for the loan if I cant continue to pay the loan?
   Thanks for any help with this problem.

   If there is a deficient balance left on the forclosed property, they get a judgement-- Yes they can attach to any assets-- including putting a lien on your home
