My condo is just about to be foreclosed upon. The auction date for the property is this month. Recently the HOA uncovered a leak from my property that damaged the outside wall that faces one of the walkways (it is not a shared wall with any other owner. Once the foreclosure process finalizes am I still liable to fix that property damage or does the responsibility lie with the new owner of the property?

    Thanks

It depends if the HOA agreement is written to hold you personally liable.

Most HOA'S are crafty enough to make you personally liable.

Review your HOA agreement and by-laws.
