I was recently driving through Lima, OH in Allen county on my way back to Cincinnati, when I was stopped by a cop for doing 81 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
This is my first ticket, and I am quite willing to pay the fines, but do not want any points on my record. I have called the county, and they do not seem to have a Ticket Deferral Program like in other places.
There is a court date set up, which I want to attend to ask the judge for leniency, but I am unsure of how to plead. If i merely want to ask the judge for lenience with the points, do I go in saying GUILTY, NOT GUILTY or NO CONTEST? Or are there any other suggestions regarding what I should do?
