In July my roommate was terminated at her place of employment, she filed for unemployment and heard nothing.

She called again today to find out she's still listed as employed, so uneligible for unemployment benefits, with no payments since her fire date. What's her next step??

To contact her former employer and ask them if there's been an error in her record.

And if she has been terminated, perhaps she can obtain a letter of termination which may help with expediting unemployment benefits. Perhaps she even already has a letter of termination.
