K Visa Fiance Visa-Senegalese citizen in Italy

Hello,

I am a US citizen who is filling for a Fiance Visa for my fiance who lives in Florence, Italy. He is from Senegal and is in Italy illegally. Can I file for a Fiance Visa for him to come directly to the US from Italy? Or does he have to go to Senegal and we need to file for a Fiance Visa there?

Any advice will be appreciated!

He should go back home if he is illegal.......that would facilitate his case. Violating another countries law would be something you don't want the US embassy to know. They could view it as a CIMT........which could lead to denial.
