Hi, I was pulled over for a dwi on 03-23-08 I obtained a lawyer and we went to the intial hearing (I think it's called adjuication) 2 weeks later. My lawyer then said to call him in 2-3 weeks for an update. Well I called him 3 times and he never got back to me. Now it's been 5 months and he calls to tell me I am to be indicted this Wednsday 06-03-08! We are almost to the 6 month speedy trail thing and I was wondering is there anything that could be done to postpone this indictment so that I reach the 6 months and have this dismissed? I'm considering hiring a new lawyer, if the new lawyer needed more time to review the case would that count?
