Hello again , looking for advice, My son is going to be charged with felonious assult with intent to great bodily harm less than murder for throwing corn at cars with 3 other guys, one of the cobbs hit a patrol car and broke the windshield, he has never been in any trouble before, we have a attorney, he says the prosecutor is offering a lesser charge of attemted of the charge above, attorney thinks its bull and that they should go to trial, if he takes the plea he may still go to jail but the charges could be expunged after 5 years, the other 3 are under 21 and will get a break under the hyda? act. I am not sure what to advise my son as trial would be on the higher charge. No charges have been filed as of yet .Any advice? thank you so much.
