My ex is in arrearages to myself, and another person for child support. My question is, how does the state (we're both in Texas) determine how to divide my ex' tax return between the 2 parents that he is in arrearages to? Is it a 50/50 split, does it go by who he owes more money to, etc...? I've tried calling the AG's office to ask this question, and they are clueless (as usual). Any advice will be appreciated.

Generally the oldest child support order (the firsrt one) gets it first. I do not believe it will get split between orders.
