federal criminal debtors exam Other Debt

    My niece was incarcerated 2years in federal prison an completed a 3year probation.after her probation she stoped paying her restitution although in her court papers it states to continue paying she recieved a subpeona for debtors exam by mail will she get in trouble for the time she wasnt paying..thank you

    She needs a lawyer.
    Hire one to help her, if you want her to remain FREE.

    She needs a lawyer. Yes, she could get in trouble for not paying particularly if she had the funds to do so. That is what the debtors exam will determine.
