Jun 5, 2006 #1 M mwhiting New Member can the father of a child sign over his rights? This man was just informed of a child after 4 years, he is not sure it is even his so he is going to have a pertunity test done. If it is postive is there anything he can do.

Jun 5, 2006 #2 D Duranie Moderator Unless the mother is remarried and her husband is willing to adopt, not much he can do to get out of this. They do not terminate rights unless a subsequent adoption is going to take place.
