My boyfriend just recently found out he had a warrant for violating an EPO that he had no prior knowledge of. He voluntarily turned himself into the police and now has to wait weeks to go in front of a judge (due to the holidays). He is being falsely accused by a crazy, jealous ex and who has a history of falsely accusing him of crimes which he has proof of. According to the paperwork the girl says he violated the EPO by calling her from a number that doesn't belong to him or even a family member or friend of his. How can she be able to do this to him without any proof? What must he do to prove he's innocent and keep this from happening again?

According to the info you are giving there is no proof and he has nothing to worry about- however that doesn't stop the complaint from being made.
He should have waited to turn himself in... bad timing.
