I live in New York State and feel I am being harrassed through the New York State Child Abuse Hotline through the Stare Of New York. Someone (for which I have an idea who) had been calling the hotline for the past 3 years and claiming abuse on my child. We have been called on 17 times in the past 3 years and I am getting tired of the harrassment. Every time DDS comes and investigates and every time the claims are unfounded. I feel this is harrassment on my family and I. There has got to be something I can do about this. I have had meetings with DDS and our local District Attorney but because the phone caller does not leave their name they claim they can not help us. I would appreciate someone who has some knowledge about the New York Laws and advice on what I can do. I heard there is a new la comming in efect that everything should be recorded, need to know if that is true.
