Failure to stop for a school bus with flashing red lights

Hello,

Today an officer came over to my home and gave me a citation for 'failure in stopping for a school bus with flashing lights'.
As per officer the bus driver reported this happening on 28th of April at 6:56 am.
I do remember that I did not pass any school bus at that time on that day and the location given by the driver.
Please suggest what are my options.

So the bus driver just pulled your vehicle information out of thin air and made a police complaint?
